AutoBCC, AutoPrint, Category Importer and Delegate Message Mover for Microsoft® Outlook®

My free add-ins for Outlook to automatically blind-copy your outgoing e-mails to any address, print incoming messages, move Sent-As messages to the Sent Items folder of the mailbox given as sender and import or export Master Category Lists.

AutoBCC

Need to automatically send a blind-copy of all your outgoing messages to another address, for monitoring team communications with customers or just to improve workflow? My free add-in, AutoBCC for Outlook, can help!

Click here to download the AutoBCC installation file (MSI format, 2.4 MB). To install, first close Outlook, then open AutoBCCV1Setup.msi and follow the prompts.

Once the add-in is installed, click on Tools > Options in Outlook's menu and select the AutoBCC tab (see below). There you can select CC or BCC and enter the destination e-mail address or Exchange mailbox name. Multiple addresses can be separated by semi-colons.

Using AutoBCC

Tested on Outlook 2002 and later on Microsoft® Windows® XP® and Windows Vista®. Requires Exchange server mailboxes - not compatible with IMAP/POP accounts. Can be uninstalled through Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs.

AutoPrint

Need to print out incoming messages, with or without the attachments? My free add-in, AutoPrint for Outlook can help. It automatically prints messages on the default printer. You can chose to print the message text or the attachments, or both, and specify subject keywords and attachment types to exclude. Click here to download its installation file (MSI format, 2.1 MB). To install, make sure that Outlook is closed, then open AutoPrintV11Setup.msi and follow the wizard.

Using AutoPrint

Once the add-in is installed, click on Tools > Options in Outlook's menu and select the AutoPrint tab (see above). Check the box to enable the option, then select whether to print the message text or attachments, or both. Note that you can only print to the default printer and that your PC must already be configured to recognise and print all the attachment types that you may encounter.

Please respect the environment when using this add-in!

Tested on Outlook 2002 and later on Windows XP/Vista. Can be uninstalled through Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs.

Category Importer

Want the same Master Category List in Outlook on different PCs? This free utility, Category Importer for Outlook, exports your Master Category List (MCL) to a text file that you can easily import on another PC. Click here to download its installation file (MSI format, 1.3 MB).

Category Importer

Once the utility is installed, click on the CatImport icon on your desktop. First click on Options in the menu (see above) and select your version of Outlook. Then, press the Export button to save the MCL to a text file or press the Import button to load the MCL from a file. Note that importing an MCL completely replaces any existing MCL.

CatImport also supports the following command-line parameters for scripting :
/import <file>: imports the MCL from the specified CSV file;
/export <file> : exports the MCL to the specified CSV file;
/version <version> : specify 2002 or 2003 as the version, defaults to 2002;
/help : displays the help screen.

For Outook 2002/XP and Outlook 2003 on Windows XP/Vista. Can be uninstalled through Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs.

Delegate Message Mover

Tired of having to manually move Sent-As messages from a delegate's Sent Items folder to the Sent Items folder of the mailbox given as the sender? Try Delegate Message Mover for Outlook, my next free add-in for Outlook. It automatically moves Sent-As messages to the Sent Items folder of the mailbox given as the sender. Click here to download its installation file (MSI format, 2 MB). To install, make sure that Outlook is closed, then open DelegateMoveMessageV1Setup.msi and follow the wizard.

Once the add-in is installed, click on Tools > Options in Outlook's menu, select the Delegate Message Mover tab and enable the option.

IMPORTANT: You must have "Send-As" permissions on the manager's mailbox and cached-mode must not be enabled in your Outlook profile.

Stijn Mistiaen of Netfo has written a great tutorial on how to share an Outlook mailbox in Exchange and install Delegate Message Mover. You can find it here. Thanks Stijn!
